It is only in THIS version. Reset the game two times in a row, then walk around town every day hitting every rock until one of them cracks and makes a hole for you to fall into, go in it and you'll be inside the Reset Monitoring center.

Nah, I'm pretty sure it was added in e+. XD Just hard to find.
TommyKoopa 2008-07-08
Oh, ok. I was only going by what I saw them say about this game on Gamefaqs. They do tend to mix up thier game information.
ShadowJolteon 2008-07-07
I think that is only in Doubutsu no Mori for the Nintendo 64... I've not seen anything like that in this one. =/
ShadowJolteon 2008-07-07
Nope, I'm just using my Japanese Wii and a Doubutsu no Mori e+ GCN disk. Sorry. D=

Are you using an emulator? If so, can you give me the link to the emulator and the ROM?
-Thanks! :)

Wow, this version of Animal Crossing looks and sounds great. Are you going to put up a video of the Reset Monitoring Center?

This isn't the Nintendo 64 game, this is the third Nintendo GameCube Doubutsu no Mori game. They all look a lot alike, though. =P (There have been five Doubutsu no Mori games so far:
Doubutsu no Mori (N64, Japan-only)
Doubutsu no Mori + (GCN, Japan-only)
Animal Crossing (Everywhere but Japan)
Doubutsu no Mori e+ (GCN, Japan-only)
Oideyo Doubutsu no Mori/Animal Crossing: Wild World (Everywhere) )

still same graphics and these graphics are really good for n64.
ShadowJolteon 2008-04-23
I thought I posted a reply to this already.. Weird. >>
Anyways, you're correct, Doubutsu no Mori +, Animal Crossing, and Doubutsu no Mori e+ all used the content from Doubutsu no Mori, though it was improved on a lot. A lot more characters, clock improvements, more events, Famicom & NES games, etc.
ShadowJolteon 2008-04-23
Its is very similar to Animal Crossing, though it has a lot of additional content. More characters (I think about 10), more bugs and fish (also about ten each), and a few other miscellaneous things such as being able to go into Nook's shop after closing time, more furniture (I have no idea how much yet), the ability to use e+ cards.
The reason it only has a few extra updates is probably because Animal Crossing was never released in Japan,
HelloxHixWatsup 2008-04-23
wait i dont get it.. this is like the same thing taht came out in america for gc.. whats so special about it?
sehwut 2008-04-23
animal crossing came out first for N64 and kept the same graphics for gamecube.
Zeppelin211 2008-04-23
Agreed. Tom Nook used to be such a pain in the ass about my house...until I figured out and memorized the 2000 bells cheat! MUAHAHA UP YOURS NOOK!
