I found this cool remix of "Megablast" by Bomb The Bass.
I am pretty sure it appeared on the CDTV version of the game "Xenon 2: Megablast".

i got xennon 2 on atari st, this track blew me away, and at 11 i remember buying the bomb the bass LP. the original track is responsible for me falling in love with electronic music and it turned me on to john carpenters orignal track from which the main sample (riff) comes from :) bomb the bass....... rock this place!

If you can pick up a copy of Bomb the Bass' lp "Into the Dragon" the 4 minute version that is on the intro to Xenon 2 is there. Fuckin loves it bruv! Miss Amiga days too - got a 360, got a DS, but the A500 will always be my true love :)

Although nice for historical reasons, the Amiga version is the one that really rocks (not the intro- but the in-game version), even leaving the original behind. I remember that after a search into all records shops I could finally obtain Into The Dragon which contained the original Megablast, but my happiness was didn't last long as it sounds quite dull and not solid. So many credits goto - besides Simenon - to David Whitaker, wo did the Amiga port!

Xenon 2 was way too hard for me, but the music made me kept comign back. And the Bitmap Brothers had style... remember the Bitmap Shades from the Shop in Xenon 2?

Man i used to love this game! I used to go round my uncles place and sit in his massive leather chair and have a go on xenon 2 & wow it was mind blowing i loved it! Got the st version but was no way as good as the amiga version!
