Yeah tonight... 1 am is when the moon sets so you should be out at aroun 1-6...make sure to let your eyes adjust to the dark before looking... happy hunting!

I stood until 4 am, but I was able to see very few meteors. I only saw one big meteor the rest were small. A bit disappointed.

I`m in LA & I drove up to Angelas Crest up in Pasadena. We lied on the mountain floors & stared up into the pitch dark sky. We saw MANY shooting stars too, a few big ones ^^

You can always try; my friend and I, on an ordinary day, slept outside and saw about fifteen shooting stars (or rather, meteors.) And I've heard that meteor showers last a while, but peak on a certain day (which would be last night. xD) Good luck. =] And great video!

I was amazed I could see them at all. They were about as bright as stars except they had a distuingished flaming quality to them & they were clearly, slightly moving.
