Of all the Japanese singers, I like Tomiko Van from Do as Infinity, Utada Hikaru, Hamasaki Ayumi and BoA. I like them all equally even though I'm not Japanese.

this is the first time i hear her voice and see her..gotta say she sounds really great!! but reading all these comments about whose better and whatnot is really a big turn off especially if one degrades another artist..i think people like artist because of personal preference..if you dont like someone you shouldnt talk bad at them just because you dont..keep bad comments to yourself and just enjoy the music

Singing other people's songs and stealing dance moves is not successful by any means. So i don't even know why BoA has any fans. I like some songs she has, but only the song itself. She needs to reevaluate herself as an artist because she's just doing what her label is telling her to do. Yea i actually look at facts and not gon on like some people with wishful thinking.

I love Fergie, I think she's awesome, but there's no way you can compare Ayu to her because their styles are too different. Boa may be produced, but her voice and amazing dancing save her from being considered non-talented. Utada can't be compared to Mariah Carey because she doesn't get down and dirty like Carey does.

well, ayu is Fergie and Utada would be mariah carey. BoA is just..PSH. She's just a produced superstar. Doesn't write her own songs, or self produce like ayu and utada. She also lips and has a below average voice for a singer. Not to mention her sales are down the gutter.
